Experts of Ltd. «Istrim» successfully fulfilled system of engineering automatic tanks calibration (calibration of sensors of level) on the basis of the equipment "Drozd" and transformers-adapters of fuel gauges IS12 with a CAN-exit. Calibration is produced by fullfeeling or an emptying of a fuel tank through the measuring unit with the fuel pump of a high pressure.
As a result:
- possible errors of employees at tank filling are eliminated with a use of measured capacity;
- there are no errors of approximation and passes of nonlinearities of the tanks, arising at filling of a tank with portions;
- is developed technique (IS29-01.112UA) of certifications of gauge settings;
- is developed procedure of calculation of a calibration curve and loading of the fuel gauges IS12 into adapter in the program «Connector»;
- all process can be spaced apart in time (tank filling «in the field», and distant performance calibration from office in any other day);
- operations on an installation are simplified.
In a process of estimation of errors sources some singularities of operation of flow meters VZO of firm Aquametro are revealed. Taking into account these singularities it was possible to lower an error of measurement of fuel consumption by gauge setting about 1 % to level of 0,3 %. Accordingly, the error of measurement of an amount of fuel in a tank is close now to own error of the level gauge.

Calibration in the program «Signalman»
Program «Signalman» contains functions of automatic tanks calibration.
Procedure of calibration consists of several stages:
- setting of the fuel level gauge;
- connection of calibration setting;
- testing of gauges;
- tank filling till the end or its full emptying;
- calculation of calibration tables.
In the program there is a possibility to share all stages of process in time or perform distant calibration.
Two or more tanks
As monitoring fuel control system we realized possibility of simultaneous connection of set of gauges of fuel level to numeral CAN bus to the module Drozd (since the version of software V4.5). This decision is applied on the technics having some tanks or tanks of the difficult form, for example, on tractors of manufacture by DzhonDir. By appropriate adjustment there is a possibility to describe any mathematical model of tanks system.
